About PROTRAC
We, some of the Nepalese professionals/church leaders and expatriates had tried to start a Christian value based drug education and rehabilitation program. We surprisingly could not get any application from Christian people although it was our plan to recruit Christian staffs for this program. It offended as well as compelled us to think about Nepalese Christian youths and their future. In consequence, PROTRAC was established in 1999 with the vision of Christian professionals are salt and light in specific areas of various professions in the country (through quality training and education). During the initial year, PROTRAC had only 5 students but in these days it provides scholarship for higher education and professional training to about 85 students each year. Many students has completed their course and started to work in different organizations in the country. We not only focus on quality education but our students get regular follow-up, encouragement, and fellowship during the study period which help them to be a salt and light in their work and society.

Our Objectives
- Christians (including underprivileged) is employed in government services, private business, and in different I/NGOs.
- Participants understand and own Christian approach to work.
- Students supported by wider PROTRAC family.
- Students supported by local churches through prayer, guidance and if possible, by finance.
- PROTRAC's ministry sustained and funded.
